Currently scientific director at J&J solid state & particle engineering, Amrit has spent a long standing academic and industrial career focusing research and innovation in a wide diversity of drug formulations including solid oral, inhaled, and long acting products. His focus has been towards mechanistic understanding, characterization, control and prediction relevant design and development attributes including stability, manufacturing and bio performances. He has delivered invited talks at several international conferences, published over 150 research papers and book chapters, and is an inventor of diverse drug formulation, and device patents.
